everything had its place in the holy mount of god. kazuki was the finest of angels - full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. although god’s favourite, the celestial being wasn’t satisfied with his life. something had always felt off. if he was as strong as god himself, why should he bow to him? why should he obey his orders blindly, without ever questioning a command? it didn’t seem right to him.

that was the original sin.

kazuki was accused of being corrupted, but was he, really? he wanted nothing more than free will, to be able to live in an environment where everyone’s opinions were listened to rather than following a weak and close-minded leader. he rebelled against god, and instead of taking the heavens, he decided to create a new kingdom for himself.

he wandered the mortal’s world until he finally met eve - a beautiful, intelligent woman. the angels would spend days watching her interactions with adam, the first two humans. god took his time with his creation, designing them and filling their souls with virtues. unlike her husband, eve was curious and kazuki saw in that an opportunity. he didn’t have to say much, the woman was already a bit of a rebel, and so she ate the forbidden fruit, convincing adam to do the same. and just like that, the fallen angel started his revenge against god.

kazuki found his home in hell, an uninhabited and dark place. when he first got there, the only thing the fallen angel was able to see was a lake. curious, he reached for it, diving into its troubled waters.

pride. lust. wrath. greed. envy. sloth. gluttony.

the sins took over him, one by one, gripping his soul and breaking the bond he had with god forever. his wings, once white and pure, were now thick and black. he was reborn as the ruler of the strange place he had found, stronger and ruthless. kazuki started to forge hell like he wanted to, a home for tortured souls and sinners. he also created demons, pushing them towards the same lake he had dived into. the ones who were able to come back to the surface became his personal guards, and so the devil thrived.

thousands of years later, kazuki still rules the underworld, watching with pleasure as mankind becomes rotten. they were once so devoted to god, but slowly, they gave themselves to sin, losing their faith in heaven and ensuring their place in hell for the rest of eternity. powerful, the devil can do practically anything, but he doesn’t like using his powers that much. they make things way too easy, and easy things bore him.

he can often be seen in the mortal world; after all, the easiest way of corrupting mankind is interacting with them. if you are walking around and you find him, be careful.
